We have been collecting things for our nursery (mostly from wonderful family who don't need baby things anymore).  I absolutely love this little rocking horse.

Biking Family Fun

We had so much fun biking with Gavin's whole family last weekend.  The is an amazing trail not to far from where we live.  We love to go there whenever we can.  There is so much beauty in the world around us!

 Gavin's parents are going on their mission this weekend, so we took family pictures of each family.  So this is ours.

Here is Amy with two of our cute nieces.  They always have so much fun together.  They were skipping rocks (or at least attempting to) just before this picture was taken.  Amy needs to bring her camera more often so that we can have more pictures with Gavin in them!

USA Freedom Run

 Gavin and I had the opportunity to be a part of the USA Freedom Run this weekend.  It is a color run where they throw colored corn starch at you while you run a 5K.  It was so much fun.  Gavin and his co-worker Ryan were hired to film the race, so me and Chantelle (Ryan's wife who is one of my best friends) got to run the race while they filmed it.  It was so much fun!!!  Chantelle and I ran the race with her 5 kids.  We made sure to get everyone as messy as we could, after all, that is half the fun.  My awesome sister-in-law KariLyn also came and ran it with us, I just don't have copies of the pictures yet that she took of all of us.

Summer/Fall 2012 Pictures

 This was a trip to Jackson Hole that we went on in July.  We love to travel and with Gavin's job we get the opportunity to do so every now and then.

 We went to Kauai, Hawaii in October with some of Gavin's family.  We are lucky enough to be able to do that once in a while because Gavin's parents have a timeshare condo there.

This is just a fall picture that we took in the mountains near our house.  We loved the yellow leaves!

Our Future Baby's First Friend!

As I have said, we are doing the nursery in lime green and gray.  Well, while we were shopping for new bar stools the other day, we found this adorable green monkey!  I love it!!!  It will be so cute in the nursery and I hope our future little baby will love it and that they will be best friends someday.  I also love that it isn't gender specific.  It is just cute and cuddly.  I'm not sure what to name it.  Any suggestions?

Nursery Basket Makeover

We are officially published today for adoption!!!  We are so excited!  We have also been thinking lately that we need to take the time we have right now to start preparing for when we get our sweet little baby someday (we won't have the normal 9 months to get stuff done, we have no idea when it will happen.)  I've been working on sewing the decor for the nursery and last night we bought a beautiful crib.  I love it!  I'll post pictures as we get things set up.
We are doing the nursery in lime green and gray.  We will leave it this way if we have a boy, and we will add some pink and girly blue to it if we have a girl.  It is going to be modern and super cute.  The only decor I have finished so far is a basket remodel for the changing table.  My sister-in-law has given me so many baby things and I've had fun remaking them to fit our style.  So here is a picture of our new gray baskets!
